Hi, there!

My name is Aya, and I’m your friendly neighbourhood wife, mother, and introvert. I’m an Atlanta-based photographer and graphic designer who loves taking candid portraits and doodling. I consider myself a photojournalist who captures images artistically of real-life events or milestones and every day life.

I graduated from NYU in 2011 with a BFA in studio art. My concentration was in digital art and digital photography. I minored in creative writing. I am currently in the process of becoming an Adobe Certified Expert through New York Institute of Art and Design. I have over ten years of experience with Photoshop, and am working on mastering Illustrator.

I’ve had the pleasure of capturing and sharing birthday parties, cancer survivorship celebrations, retirement parties, and weddings. I love animals and kids, and would be happy to take photos of your pets and your family!

I love natural light and natural poses. I think people are at their most beautiful when they are being themselves. I am also a graphic designer with an illustrative, playful, but sometimes spooky aesthetic.
